The King County Health Department received a report of a potential algal bloom and dog sickness at Lake Sawyer. King County will be testing the water and hope to have results by Tuesday, October 29th. Signs have been posted at the Boat Launch and Regional Park. Until these signs are removed by the City, please exercise caution at the lake. Do not swim or water ski; do not drink the lake water, keep pets and livestock away from the water; avoid areas of scum when boating. Call your doctor or veterinarian if you or your animals have sudden or unexplained sickness or signs of poisoning. Signs will be posted at the boat launch and regional park.
